I think it is extremely important to incorporate technology into today's classrooms because it can keep students up to date with the rest of the world. So much of our society is based on technology these days and in order to keep up with our always chaning society we need to have technology in the classrooms. It also can help a child learn at a quicker pace then if they didn't have access to a computer, ipad, cell phone, etc.
Technology is such a vital part of today's society. If we are hoping to be teaching students real world skills we need to keep up with what our society values (which currently is techology). We should also take it a step further by teaching students tools on how to filter through all of the information technology provides us, helping them to retain what is really important.
technology is important to integrate into the classroom because there is so much going on in the world involving technology that if it isn't used in the classroom it leaves the possibility of the students falling behind where technology is concerned and i think that in order for the students to keep up to date then they need to have it in the classroom.
With the rate that technology is growing as a part of our society, its use is a key skill for success in life. If teachers ignore this necessity, students will lack these skills will be unable to compete with other students that do.
