10 tips for Powerpoint
- Bullets concise and to the point
- Don't over animate
- Keeping in mind age of the audience
- Adding videos, sites, etc. to make it more engaging for the viewer
- Ordering of slides make sense to the viewer
- Time of PowerPoint isn't too long or too short
- Go for aesthetic appeal
- Don't rely completely on the PowerPoint
- Don't read the entire PowerPoint
- Consider your lesson plan and how it works with your PowerPoint

Guidelines for Video
- Make sure that the lighting is good and there isn't shadowing
- Avoid shaking or bouncing the camera
- Make sure the audio is loud enough to hear
- Utilize editing functions
- Make sure it is engaging to watch
- Use titles to transition
- Have the right environment for the video
- If speaking to the audience, keep eye contact
- Save and upload video to a public and easily accessible website
- Distribute time appropriately
